Paul Ferguson has three selections for us on Thursday; Un De Sceaux 14.50, Louis’ Vac Pouch 14:10 and Laurina 16:50 all at the Cheltenham Festival. Compare odds and bet.

Last year’s winner Un De Sceaux (2:50) is fancied to win the Ryanair Chase for Willie Mullins.

The ever-green 10-year-old has impressively won both outings this season and, with the soft ground in his favour, he can score at the festival for a third time.

Later on the card Laurina (4:50) is expected to complete a double for the Mullins stable, in what looks a race lacking in real depth.

Two from two since arriving from France, the imposing five-year-old needs to step forward here as she takes on the five-times winner Maria’s Benefit. The latter has been a revelation this season, but her front-running tactics might just set things up for the market leader here.

Earlier on the card, I like a couple in the Pertemps Final, those being Louis’ Vac Pouch (2:10) and Forza Milan, who chased him home at Aintree earlier in the season.

The former has been kept fresh since that success and the race has worked out really well, with the third (none other than Long Distance Hurdle winner Beer Goggles), fourth and fifth all successful since. Drying ground would increase his chance, but he showed he can cope with soft at Aintree and a big run looks on the cards.

Forza Milan, in contrast, relishes soft ground and should also go well, having knocked on the door in three starts this term. He looks to have a big race in him, when things drop his way.

2:50 Cheltenham Festival – Un De Sceaux; 11/10 BetVictor
